Wayne started working with his mentor Nishi in 2021, and continues to work with her alongside making his own work.
Working with Nishi gave him experience with hand building his own forms, allowing each piece to be completely custom, and have an extra bit of life and character.
He aims to make beautiful work, realistic or not, that makes people think about life, death, and the beauty of the world around us.

In 2022, Wayne won First Runner Up at the annual Wunderkammer Taxidermy Competition in New York City, with his piece "Pussy Whipped"
